The wind storms of 2018 affected all  Markham communities including Armadale, Greensborough, Locust Hill, Cedar Grove, Box Grove, Vinegar Hill, Milliken, Cachet, Unionville, Berczy Village, Quantztown, Mt Joy, Dickson Hill, Cashel, and Victoria Square. Some homes had minor damage and missing shingles. The homes not affected by the extreme wind were those that had a premium metal roof installed. Among the other benefits are an increase in value, increased curb appeal, less environmental impact, water and pest resistance, and more importantly peace of mind when the next wind storm hits.
